Greater Chicago Cage Bird Society Shelter and Rescue We are a 501(c)3 organization that house about 120-150 birds in our shelter or at foster homes. We take in about 100 surrendered birds and adopt out about 100 birds. For every bird we accept we frequetly have to turn down 4-5 others. We operate on donations and grants and have an all volunteer staff. Volunteers provide daily cage care, food, water, vegetables/fruits, and interation.
